I was sent the following statement and asked to comment on it.
The Bible tells us that JESUS was born of a virgin and that HE is the Son of GOD the Father. The Qur’an also states that JESUS was born of a virgin although they do not believe that JESUS is the Son of GOD.
It is only a man (male) who has the seed known as sperm, but the woman/female carries the egg.
If you take a chicken egg and boil it then cut it in half – you will clearly see the yoke and whites are cooked but you cannot see the blood. The shell is not edible but the yoke and egg whites are edible. When a chick hatches out of the egg, it leavesthe shell behind an has hatched with blood flowing through it, that is why blood is known as the life-line.
Every human being, animal and etc have 100% blood of their fathers, there is not a drop of their mother’s blood mixed with the father’s blood. The womb of a woman is the shell of the foetus. The woman during her pregnancy – feeds her foetus with nutrients that the foetus/baby needs. While Mary was pregnant with JESUS, her body was only feeding HIM with the nutrients needed, but not a drop of her blood mixed with the blood of JESUS. Mary was a Virgin, there was NO male interception which proves that JESUS’ Blood is from GOD the Father which is sovereign and the most powerful blood in the world (whole universe).Remember, a woman does NOT have a seed, but only an egg. The reason why in Genesis it was stated that JESUS would come from the seed of a woman is that it is meant that she would bare a CHILD while she is a virgin and that seed is through immaculate conception, a seed from GOD the Father Who sent HIS only begotten Son JESUS to save us John 3:16.
There is mighty power in the blood of JESUS CHRIST/YESHUA HaMESHIACH. HIS blood defeated Satan on the cross 2000 years ago and still has mighty power today.
I’ll respond as follows:
The Bible tells us that JESUS was born of a virgin and that HE is the Son of GOD the Father. The Qur’an also states that JESUS was born of a virgin although they do not believe that JESUS is the Son of GOD.
Jesus is not only the Son of God, He is God (John 1:1), the 2nd person of the Trinity. Remember the Trinity correctly defined as follows: One God (one being, one essence) consisting of three persons (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit). These three are co-equal and together are God. Jesus is no less God than the Father, but along with the Holy Spirit is equally God.

If you take a chicken egg and boil it then cut it in half – you will clearly see the yoke and whites are cooked but you cannot see the blood. This line or reasoning is concerning as it’s trying to explain via a simple human analogy the infinite God of the universe, and His work of salvation. Any analogy is bound to fall infinitely short and not do justice to the infinite God. In fact, we are going to spend eternity glorifying God and enjoying Him and we’ll never fully comprehend the greatness of God even with our glorified bodies and minds, because he is infinite and we although glorified, are still finite creatures.

While aspects are this reasoning can be stated in this way and be accurate, we have to be careful not to attribute some sort of vague mystical power to the blood of Christ apart from the reason why there is power in the blood of Christ. Yes Jesus was born of a virgin (Matt 1:23, 25) in the line of David as God foretold through the Old Testament. But why is Jesus’ blood powerful and able to save us from sin, and how does that work?
First keep in mind that Jesus Christ is God almighty who condescended and stepped into His creation. The creator became a creature, yet without sin, fully God and fully man, the God man. To be that effective and perfect sacrifice, that sacrifice would atone for the sins of fallen human race, the sacrifice had to be both fully man and fully God.
God cut no corners, Christ was fully man yet without sin and lived that perfect life that we could not live. And Christ became that perfect sinless sacrifice that the Bible says, God the Father was pleased to crush Him on our behalf. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, mankind deserves the death penalty for his sin against the most holy God. But even our death could not atone for our sins as we are an imperfect sacrifice. Our death could not reconcile us to God. Therefore a perfect sacrifice was required by God, a sacrifice that would be acceptable to Him. A sacrifice that would be pleasing to Him and that could pay that infinite price that was demanded by God’s justice.
This is the work of Christ, his precious blood was shed (an analogy for death) i.e. he died in our place. He was the perfect sacrifice who lived the perfect sinless life. The sins of God’s chosen or elect were imputed to Jesus Christ, and His righteousness is imputed to us. God now sees us as righteous before Him.
So to return to the original statement, we have to be careful not to treat the work of Christ as some sort of vague mystical thing. Christ’s work was a real work, an effective work, with a clear purpose, which was accomplished. Scripture teaches that this plan of salvation of the triune God was formed before the universe began. And is not some afterthought or plan B that God had to come up with when man Adam sinned. But this salvation is what God purposed and decreed, and is now working to fulfill every aspect. Salvation is ultimately for God’s glory, and God’s glory is the ultimate good.
